Nam Le

Nam Le’s work encompasses fiction, non-fiction, poetry and screen.

His debut poetry collection 36 Ways of Writing a Vietnamese Poem was published in March in Australia, the U.S. and U.K. Poems from it appeared in Paris Review, Granta, Poetry, The Atlantic, American Poetry Review, BOMB, HEAT, Overland and elsewhere.

Le’s work has been translated into over fourteen languages and has received major awards internationally, including the PEN/Malamud Award, the Dylan Thomas Prize, the Australian Prime Minister’s Literary Award and the Melbourne Prize for Literature. Le's work has been published in modern classics series, and is widely anthologized and taught.

He lives in Melbourne.
