Flock to The Wheeler Centre for laughter, stories and bird-tastic illustrations at this end-of-year pigeon extravaganza with celebrated children's authors and illustrators.

Join the creators of Real Pigeons, Andrew McDonald and Ben Wood, for a feather-ruffling end-of-year event packed with bird-puns, storytelling, live illustrations and some Coo-ristmas hilarity. This unmissable celebration of children's literature will feature special guest appearances by renowned authors and illustrators from across the country, including Nat Amoore, Jess Racklyeft, and Huda Hayek.

This event is presented in support of the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency. Audiences will be invited to make a contribution by buying and donating a book to the ‘Giving Twig’, donating directly to VACCA at the event, or simply enjoy the afternoon. Everyone who donates will go into the running to win an original Real Pigeons artwork.

A perfect way for families, young readers and lovers of children's literature to close out the year on a high-flying note!
