Jacinta Parsons

Jacinta Parsons is a broadcaster, writer and public speaker who currently hosts the Friday Revue and Saturday Mornings on ABC Local Radio Melbourne. She is the author of Unseen: The Secret Life of Chronic Illness in 2020, A Question of Age: Women, ageing and the forever self (2022) and A Wisdom of Age: Lessons on living from our wise elder women (2025)She began her broadcasting at community radio station 3RRR and is a board member for Melbourne disability theatre company, Rollercoaster. She has been involved in the music and arts community for her entire career. Jacinta has lived with Crohn’s Disease for over 25 years and is an ambassador for the Crohn’s and Colitis Association and speaks and writes about the impact of living with chronic illness.
